5 Steps of Home Care for Oily Skin

1. Wash your face properly

2. Create your own toner

  • After washing your face, you can soak the cotton wool with oil containing witch hazel as a way to care for oily face. Once soaked, apply on face. Use twice a day for two to three weeks. After the third week, use once a day. Witch hazel contains tannin, which has an astringent effect, makes the pores become firmer, the oil goes out less.
  • Mint leaves can also be a material to make your own toner which can certainly be a way of caring for oily skin. Try to soak the herb with boiling water, leave for 30 minutes, then strain and take the liquid only. Once cool, apply it evenly on your face. If any liquid is left, the liquid may be stored for the next three days at room temperature, even five days if inserted into the refrigerator.

3. Gently massage your face

Powder with a fine grain (scrub) can help absorb the oil and get rid of dead skin cells that clog the pores. You can do scrubbing on facial skin with routine as one way to care for oily skin. 5. Choose the correct makeup

  • If you use makeup, use a loose face powder on your face. Avoid using pressed powder because it can bring stains, even trigger the occurrence of acne on oily skin
